In recent years, Spunalloys has benefited from regular investment to strengthen its position as the UK’s leading centrifugal castings manufacturer. We are pleased to announce increases in capacity and casting dimensions following investment in a new horizontal roller spinner casting machine.
The equipment will increase our centrifugal casting parameters up to 5000mm in length. Designed and built by in-house engineers in close collaboration with industry experts, the machine will be capable of producing centrifugal castings up to 1 metre in diameter.
The increase in capacity is being driven by a rising demand from strategic customers and industry segments. Our extensive size range is proving popular amongst existing and new customers, with many orders having already been placed for castings to be manufactured from the new machine.
