Westley Group History
1998 – Following preliminary investment in 1995, complete ownership of Spunalloys was gained in 1998.
2002 – Francis W Birkett (FWB) joined Westley Group, bringing with it an expertise in shell mould and die castings, along with machining facilities to offer the complete supply of precision components.
2003 – Spunalloys moved to the Cradley Heath site in the Midlands, alongside Westley Foundry and Westley Machine Shop. Spunalloys now benefits from on-site finish machining capacity and a centrally located sales team.
2005 – Westley Group made its most recent acquisition with the purchase of Walter Frank - pioneers in the production of aluminium castings for fire-fighting fittings.
2007 – Westley Group invested in Magmasoft, a comprehensive CAD software package to aid in solidification modelling.
