J. T. Price worked with the well-renowned artist to produce the bronze anatomical woman, known as ‘Verity’.
The bronze sculpture is situated in Ilfracombe and is thought to be the largest sculpture in the UK standing at 66ft and weighing 25 tonnes.
JTP produced the vast majority of the sand cast bronze which makes up the sculpture, with the average panel size being 2.2m in height and 8-10mm thickness. Following the final finishes and erection of the sculpture, it was patinated to add colour and to protect against the elements.
‘Verity’ stands on fourteen bronze books, also produced by JTP.
