Walter Frank employee, Steve Allott, recently celebrated his retirement with the accolade of being Westley Group’s longest serving employee. Amazingly, Steve has worked as a skilled machinist for the business for 50 years!
This length of service is incredibly rare in the modern working environment and the company made sure that Steve’s service was recognised. Of equal (if not more) note, Steve has not taken a single day off sick for his entire 50 years’ service. This is an incredible record – well done and congratulations Steve!
Steve is pictured on his final day being congratulated by Andy Gallear in front of the company’s new VF6 Haas machining centre, which just so happened to be commissioned on the day the Group’s longest serving employee retired. The machine will form an integral part of Walter Frank’s suite of CNC machines and is the latest investment for the company’s future. We wish Steve all the best in his retirement and we pay tribute to his loyal and dedicated service.
