Spunalloys is the UK’s largest, most diverse non-ferrous and ferrous centrifugal castings foundry. Rings, tubes and special shapes are offered either proof or finish machined, fully tested, certified and assembled as required. Our world-leading range of heat, wear and corrosion resistant materials includes copper, nickel based alloys, special irons, steel and other exotic materials. We engineer safety critical products for naval and marine propulsion shaft liners, column pipe/riser mains for offshore vertical pumps, environmentally critical wellhead products for the oil & gas industries, and special alloys for the aerospace turbine industry.

Europe’s largest and most experienced non-ferrous foundry is the result of a strategically consolidated consortium of sand casting foundries. Market leaders in the design and supply of high-integrity heat, wear and corrosion resistant alloys, our castings range from 1kg to 10 tonnes, using unique production methods such as HPLT/Durville inverted pouring. Often for major naval and defence contracts, our experienced technicians are well-equipped to manage the most demanding quality requirements of safety critical components.

Our extensive precision machine shop has invested heavily in suites of CNC machining centres and lathes. We support all foundry activities, with a vertically integrated supply chain solution for fully machined and assembled castings in the heat, wear and corrosion resistant alloys that we cast. Collaborating with the customer and foundry to deliver demanding NDT, certification and full assembly, we also manufacture FranBerLube™ bearings – a specially developed range of self-lubricating bearings and wear plates suited to harsh environments.

Walter Frank manufactures a comprehensive range of fittings and hydrant valves in non-ferrous alloys to all international standards. With a comprehensive product portfolio of FM Approved valves and fittings, we offer a bespoke design and engineering service for unique product solutions. We have extensive experience of managing and delivering large projects with demanding schedules.
