Westley Group has announced a large-scale strategic investment in solar panels, making its commitment to sustainability stronger than ever. We are investing £0.5 million in this renewable energy source to help offset our carbon footprint and invest for the future.
With the new solar panels, Westley Group aspires to create a carbon neutral legacy that can last into the decades to come.
“We are a high energy user due to the intense manufacturing techniques we have to employ. We don’t want to simply accept that nothing can be done to protect against carbon release.” explains Rob Salisbury, Group Commercial Director. “Most of the products we make have an environmental consideration at the core of their design and application. The investment decision to reduce the carbon footprint at the manufacturing stage is a rewarding choice to make. Further measures will be announced soon.”
