DSEI UK 2025, one of the world’s foremost defence and security exhibitions, certainly lived up to expectations at Excel in London in September.
Industry leaders and stakeholders, including key government officials, seized the chance to build and strengthen relationships the UK, Europe and the world needs to become a safer place.
For Westley Group, as the UK’s largest independent non-ferrous foundry engineering group, the event gave us the perfect opportunity to connect with important industry colleagues. It was a busy week full of great discussions and we’d like to thank everyone who made the effort to come to the show to discuss opportunities old and new with us.
We have a proven track record in the delivery specialist non-ferrous castings and mission-critical applications, delivering the quality, reliability and innovation needed by our UK and international defence partners, from aerospace to the naval and marine sectors. Our high-integrity copper and nickel-based castings and forgings support military programmes worldwide.
A particular highlight for us at DSEI UK 2025 was the Westley Group exhibition pod at the MOD-backed AUKUS Pavilion. AUKUS is a trilateral security partnership between Australia, the UK and the US to promote a free, open, secure and stable Indo-Pacific. Our very own Nick Cooper, Sales Director, hosted a number of key delegates at the pod on September 9, eagerly discussing the AUKUS initiative and the future of defence capability in the Indo-Pacific region.
Protection is our passion at Westley Group and we are always delighted to discuss defence and security programmes at events such as DSEI UK. Our processes and procedures are supported by an embedded infrastructure that guarantees traceability, responsibility, attention to detail, robust certification and regulatory compliance.
Put simply, we are focused on the future and committed to ensuring the military personnel we service are safe and protected by the components we manufacture.
